A mainstay of the winter vegetable cropping programme, used for processing and fresh market either loose or on the stalk; ideal for roadside sales.
A relatively early variety. Medium vigour. Produces a high yield of round, smooth, very dense buttons which are well spaced on the stalk. A high percentage of marketable sprouts at harvest period. Shows tolerance of ring spot, powdery mildew and white blister. With good shelf life and well flavoured sweet sprouts.
